In this article, I’ll introduce you to the hike from Mui Wo ferry pier to Pui’O Beach. A nice hike along the sea and going through the forest. It is an easy hike, suitable for families. The beginning of the hike is similar to the Chi Ma Wan Trail.

How to get to Pui'O from Mui Wo ferry pier ?

Note that Pui’O is accessible by bus (3M) from Tung Chung MTR and from Mui Wo Pier.
If you like hiking it is super nice to walk from Mui Wo Ferry Pier to Pui’O. Starting from Mui Wo is convenient if you live on Hong Kong Island. Take the ferry from Central pier is a good option to start the day. It is nice to finish and chill on Pui’O beach and come back with the bus M3 to Tung Chung MTR or Mui Wo pier.

The entrance of the hike is just 5 minutes away from Mui Wo Ferry Pier, it is starting with few stairs in order to reach the path. The hike is mostly flat with very few slopes. Great for a morning hike before an afternoon on the beach or nice brunch.
