Note that the Ferries from Central to Sok Kwu Wan are less frequent that the one going to Yung Shue Wan Pier. It is recommended to start the hike from Sok Kwu Wan so you have more flexible for the return.

When arriving at the Sok Kwu Wan Pier, there are sea food restaurant along the sea. Around noon it is perfect timing to enjoy fresh fishes and seashells. Few menus are available depending on your preferences. Restorer will hail you toward there restaurant. Take the time to choose wisely what you like.
There are few temples in Lamma dedicated to the goddess of the sea. It seems the temple was build about 150 years ago. Most have been renovated few years ago. Tin Hau temple is located near the main path going to Yung Shue wan. Pretty temple with grey and red bricks. The roofs are made of a beautiful like green and some of the walls are covered with mosaic. Inside the temple a rare fish of 2.5 meters long displayed inside the shrine. It is a Oarfish.
Lamma is a quiet and nice island. Cars are not allowed, locals mainly move around with bicycle or small vehicles. Beaches are usually not very crowded depending on the season. The main one, Lamma Power Station Beach has a nice beach restaurant. It is convenient to spend the afternoon. Below the list of few of them :

Lamma island is known for its sea food restaurants. Many locals visit the island for its fresh sea food along the sea. There’s plenty of dishes available, try, explore and enjoy the moment.
