Food – The best ceviche I ever had in my life. Dream about it and would love to go back. Food in Peru is delicious. In some regions they eat the cuy (Ginea pig). Didn’t try, seems to be popular in Cusco. In average count USD 10 per meal. It can be USD 2 is you eat in local market.
Transportation – Peru has local buses that are very cheap sometimes you’ll pay a ride of 1 hours USD 2 or less. Taxis are reasonable priced (USD 2-3 for a short ride), you can also use Uber. In average per day if you take public transport count USD 5.
Suggested daily budget – 50-60 EUR / 52-62 USD (Note: This is a suggested budget assuming you’re staying in a hostel, eating out a little, cooking most of your meals, and using local transportation.
