Accommodation – Hotels and hostel are available in Laos. Depending on your expectation and standards, prices start from USD 5 per night.
Food – Laos is a delicious discovery of flavors, I found influences from Vietnam, Camdobia, Thailand and China. Local restaurants are best and cheap from USD 2 per meal.
Transportation – Scooters, bicycles, tuk tuk or private vans, depending on your needs and destination everything is available. There prices are from USD 2 for a ride.
Suggested daily budget – 20-40 EUR / 25-45 USD (Note: This is a suggested budget assuming you’re staying in a hostel, eating out, and using local transportation. Using the budget tips below, you can always lower this number. However, if you stay in fancier accommodations or eat in trendy restaurants, expect this to be higher!)

Rent a scooter
Enjoy discovering the surroundings, however be careful of the scams related to scooter renting. They ask for original passport, the scooter got stolen and they ask you to pay the full price of the scooter to get you passport back.

Discuss the prices on the markets, for tuk tuk or other purchases.

Guesthouse
Hotel rates for the quality in Loas are reasonable (from USD 15). If you travel on budget go for hostels.
