How to get to tong fuk beach ?
There's two main ways to reach tong fuk beach ?
From Hong Kong Island : Ferry to Mui Wo + Bus or taxi
- Ferry : Central Pier 6
- Departure : Mui Wo Pier
- Bus from Mui Wo : 1,2 and 4
- Arrival : Tong Fuk Village
- Duration : Around 20 minutes
- Budget : Around HKD 17 (one way)
MORE INFORMATION :
– From Tung Chung MTR, take the bus 11 or 23 or taxi.
– It takes around 35-40 minutes.
– The beach is near a small village, not much shops and restaurants available.
– Gallery restaurant is available, great meat, better to book in advance. Average budget per head HKD 200.

1 - Hike from Pak kung au to Tong Fuk
From Pak kung Au there is a short hike to reach the village. To reach Pak Kung Au, take the bus 11 from Tung Chung MTR
2 - Relaxing day on the beach
In conclusion, if your are looking for a relaxing day at the beach for a gate away from Hong Kong city. Tong Fuk beach is easy to reach and offers soft sand and clean water.
3 - Lunch at gallery restaurant
Delicious lunch at Gallery, the restaurant is offering a large selection of meat, pasta, pizza and some desserts. The meat is great and very well cooked. Some dishes are cooked on the BBQ. Few seats are available, try to book in advance.
Tips for your trip:
1 – Depending on the hours of the day, buses are full, especially in the afternoon around 4 to 5 pm.
2 – Blue taxis are usually fully booked, difficult to call and get one.
3 – Bring enough cash for the day.
4 – Bring swimming suits and towels.
